It doesn't read deranged at all to me.

To sell something to the masses you fundamentally need a product to sell. Agreed.

And you fundamentally need a way to find the customers for that product that need it at the time.

And you fundamentally need a way to interact with those customers that can persuade them to use your product.

Lots of aspects are vitally important to the overall success.

I still remember the Klein bottle I ordered from you for my father. It's still on his bookshelf :) thank you!

I remember this being a thing in some Tony Robbins book!

Maybe you can help me out, I listened to him talk about this and I couldn't make head-nor-tail of what he was trying to say. It feels like he's so tied up in concepts and metaphors and similes and allegories it's impossible to tell specifically what he is asserting to be true. If you could explain to me like I was five I'd be grateful. Not looking for an argument.

> So, somewhere on that website, there’s a free version that can be downloaded onto a desktop and run without signing up for their service?

If you go to https://tailscale.com/pricing?plan=personal

The first plan on the left called 'Personal' is free.

It uses a central orchestrator which is what requires you to sign up. If you prefer to self host your orchestrator you can look into Headscale, an alternative that seeks to be compatible with the clients.

> So, basically you leave a computer running at home, and this thing lets you pretend to be running your internet stuff through it while you’re on the road?

That's one thing you can do with it, yes. You can also run custom DNS entries across it, ACLs, it is very flexible.

I don't think you need to pay $6 a month to try it out.

Install it on all the machines you want. When you are running it on the machine, it is networked to the other machines that are running it. Now make an 'exit node' on one of those machines by selecting it in the UI, and all your gear can access the internet via that exit node. Your phone can run it. Your apple tv can run it. You can have multiple exit nodes. So you can have a worldwide network and not once did you have to open ports in firewalls etc.

A little while ago Bloomberg published a list of his books. I created two lists on Goodreads containing these books, using Bloomberg as a source.

2007 -> 2017:

https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/237057.Epstein_s_Library...

2018 -> 2019:

https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/237060.Epstein_s_Library...

You can only add 100 books in a Goodreads list so I had to create two. In the lists I linked back to the original Bloomberg article.

You can use nextjs to statically generate a whole site, or incrementally regenerate it for slowly changing parts.

The tinniness is something your brain adjusts to and prices in, and if your hearing aid is properly set up, it is very likely that to start with it will sound tinny if your hearing is deficient with high frequencies. It is boosting those frequencies to make up for your lack in hearing. You probably need a good 2-6 months to adjust.

Mine were exactly like this to start with and over time the effect goes away such that you don't notice. I'd recommend if you do actually have hearing problems, sticking with it for quality of life improvements.
