Most C developers I have met are not very active online. Talking about their work in person is also a mixed bag. Maybe they just don't like talking about it.
I don't see how paper bags aren't better. Both plastic and paper require processing. The difference is that paper isn't toxic when degraded, plastic is.
Are you actually making mistakes or does he single you out for no reason? If he is unhappy with your performance, you can ask for reassignment to something you think you would be good at.
If he is doing it with no real reason, he probably just wants you gone.
Killing the current web frameworks would probably do it. Gigabytes of RAM and constant processor time for basically text and images. I don't understand how all this bloat is accepted and encouraged.
Also, not sure what's with all the panel interviews. Everybody and their grandma wants to pitch in on the new guy.
