Shaper Tools builds an overpriced handheld CNC. It is super cool. Compass CNC was an open source alternative. They were getting ready to sell and ship kits and they were recently taken down.

Looks like they probably had legal issues with Shaper Tools :/ It's too bad the official repo couldn't have stayed up. Stuff like this makes me super angry especially when companies flex on the little guy. I am sure it was some kind of patent issue. Still sad.

I like it to. I am just not happy with how they handle model history. And it is missing many of the tooling I like from things like Fusion. A thread tool would go a long way for hobbyists.
