I think it's a great source for good information for specifics, but must know how to find the good papers and read them.

dedpends on your area of interests. Computer Science and yo ucan get more specifics like silicon methods or anything that has to do with that keyword. I look it up to see what new breakthroughs or ideas people are interested in. Then comes where does the research is hosted, from " University" , "large tech company", or independent. Also who is listed on the top. Must check the names to what other work they've have done, adds credit to the research.

more like walled off garden where they only, have access to children and what they watch. so now they will feed them the junk and ads curated only for children so they can get them hooked on products early on. Way to go Google yo uhave succeeded in your goal.

This falls Within my predictions of how the AI playing field is become more leveled, in terms with human digital activity. Soon it wouldn't be so what you can do with the computer but what the agent can do BETTER. We are already there for the most part. These are the early steps of full re-genitive self hosting, fully capable AI the is far more advanced then asking it to solve a 2 + 2 question.

The article worded it perfectly; friction-less "efforts"

Universal technologies are increasingly becoming more desirable for devs the more I read about them.

I would give a look to the creators of SpacetimeDB and their game that they've developed. Some of their work utilizing Rust was interesting.

Thanks for that link. I just like the idea of creating things with Rust. Having the ability to build things for the web with Rust is a plus

I too made a post like this on here not that long ago. The point i was trying to make was to be AI knowledge first. The tools are here and someone has spent lots of money(foolishly yess!, But) creating this tools, so why not use them to your advantage. The one's that wait too long find themselves playing catch up on the next big thing that's comes of it. This is a phase that will blow over and in that process there is something cooking. Think of it as the stepping stone to the next era into the future. The future isn't created on its own, we must push for it. Hope doesn't do much in creating innovative advancements.

Before the smartpphones we have today there was touch pad LCD products all fighting for what now we call smartphones, that came with heavy innovative techniques to achieve a goal. The goal wasn't evident nor clear at the time.

This will lead to something else that is far more useful and could be harmful in many ways not just to employment.Economies are changing like never before transformational force are changing our lives as we speak. housing prices, Wages, Technology, Political Power, Warfare, ideologies, the list goes on. AI is the starting point in this new era. Choosing to use silly words like " This is not how we used to do things: no shit, we also used to ride horses and sacrifice virgins for it to rain. I don't know when people will ever get this ( The world is ever evolving) that is what humans do.

Having a say so and a control in what is harmful and what is helpful is just as equally important.

Again i wish more people did what you did and experience life outside of their norm. Indeed it's not for everyone but the point stands. You made the choice to come back after experiencing something else for a while.

What? What part of my comment says i disagree with what i read. "did i read it, or understand it" did you? you seem lost.

We need this at a conference. Why are people pushing back so heavily when embracing it will bring you greater control over the technologies coming out. Yes AI will replace jobs, what now. Are you just gonna wait you fate or create it. Screw it!

regardless if you hate hearing them promoting their experiences or not, it's still true. People want to have fun and live happy not worry about school shooting, healthcare costs, living standards.

I watched a video of a teacher that moved from Canada to China. He explained how much him and his family love it there, after 14 years he moved again to Singapore and loves it there just a little better than China. it is NOT all that unusual to move and have life shared across multiple countries. I think it's natural. We were literally doing that none stop during 1500's , 1400's ,1300's, just imagine the ancient silk-road.We might make it sound and feel like it is the worst thing you can do is move to another country in a form of guilt to betrayal of your residing country, but it's really not.

Stop listening to everything that you hear. Choose what you want your brain to experience. Do what YOU think will bring you joy.

I have lived in three states so far, yes lived not just visited. A relative told me numerous times " to not go, its a bad idea and far away moving to Florida, New York" guess what I should of moved sooner. wasted time and years listening to scared of change people.

Soon there will be restrictions on this. If the data ever gets presented and catches public opinion then i suspect the restrictions will start coming and salary caps based on expat workers will start to deter them from leaving. Quite the contradiction if you want people to stay. We all know this is the attitude of the admin ATM.
