This. Even before LLMs it was well understood that you don't really understand a program unless you wrote it yourself. There's just no shortcut for it.

Vicious. Adding to the mountain of evidence that Israel wants the region in flames.

Start with teaching Israel supporters that IOF is not the answer. And maybe, maybe after that people start seeing Israelis as victims. Without it, most people will continue supporting Palestine, not because they think that it does no wrong. But in comparison with IOF and their supporters Palestine is lesser evil.

Fixed that for you.

Take a look at the report, it's all in there.

You kind of went around my question but I appreciate the insight, that's new to me.

It's not just the raw suffering but also the sense of systematic oppression between groups that triggers people. Yemen or Sudan don't get nearly enough attention because most people find those conflicts harder to understand in terms of "good and evil" than the Israel-Palestine conflict.

> Does Israel has the intent of genocide? I don't think so.

Just curious: is there a (hypothetical) red line that Israel would have to cross for you to be convinced? If not, you're biased.

> they can then just go and progrom all the Jews in Israel

If that's really Iran's intent, how do you explain that ~10,000 Jews live peacefully in Iran?

If by biased you mean I care more about certain issues than others, then you're correct.

> If you notice a police officer is only ever arresting people of a certain race, you can suspect he’s a racist - even if they actually did commit the crimes.

Ridiculous comparison. Police are obligated to act impartially, private individuals are not. Expecting regular people to give every political matter equal attention is absurd.

The audacity of Iran building a bunker and not keeping us in the loop about what's going on inside.

> Of course there is, it’s right there in the title of the website.

What's political about the title?

> Even making a website to remember these deaths and not other ones is a political choice.

Or maybe they realized the other ones are already covered: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=38083001

Someone should create and post this kind of a website about Iran's protester deaths and see if it gets flagged too.

So I guess October 7th wasn't actually tragic enough for you and should be embellished with claims about "little girls who were murdered and raped"?

> how many were little girls who were murdered and raped by Hamas?

That'd be news to me, can you share some sources?

> The word genocide is not appropriate because it refers to the aim of destroying a national or ethnic group and Gaza is neither. Even if Israel wanted to kill, and killed, all Gazans that does not fit the commonly accepted definition of this word prior to the war in Gaza.

Your definition of genocide is so narrow that it also excludes the Armenian genocide, are you okay with that? Some groups like those in Constantinople were spared, so a denier might claim that only rural Armenians were targeted, not the whole ethnic group (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armenian_genocide_denial#Rheto...).

For me that was the best insight in the whole article. Here are a few extra sentences for context:

> So Iran would now have to assume that an Israeli air attack was also likely an American air attack. It was hardly an insane assumption – evidently according to the Secretary of State, American intelligence made the exact same assessment. But the result was that by bombing the Iranian nuclear facilities in June of 2025, the Trump administration created a situation where merely by launching a renewed air campaign on Iran, Israel could force the United States into a war with Iran at any time.

> This war could trigger regime collapses all over the Arab world and put populist leaders in charge who rise to power on the basis of Gaza genocide fury.

It would be a black swan if this didn't happen.

If the strikes really stop protesters from being killed I'd give them credit, but is there any evidence they've made a difference?
