yes! I did the same thing, although I never got a 486 and jumped to a amd k6-2 with Blender when it came out. Never had the math co-processor either, although it would have been nice.
I had just started using Mint mobile and then I find out a month later that T-Mobile is acquiring them, now this... there was a reason I never wanted to use T-Mobile. Guess I gotta find another provider... again
this is why food is cheap people. I used to drive corn and pea combines in high school, and in the farming community it's not uncommon to have kids driving tractors as well (granted this is usually a family run farm). It's likely that the people working in the factories there knew the kids or families and made an exception to allow them to start early (still technically illegal I know). it's not child slave labor, its kids trying to make money.
I worked with the Co-Founder (Ben Lamm) at Chaotic Moon and Hypergiant. If I've learned anything from the past, it's that this is likely not the future.
The pattern is: find a hot topic, hire Maven to make a nice website, raise on hype, find an exit or get booted.
I don't doubt the team actually working on things is talented. I hope they can pull it off.
