Of course the U.S and allies like Canada/Australia have all the critical minerals needed. But the U.S. does not have the ecosystem to mine and process it. The author suggests critical R&D but the administration is also waging war on the top universities (Harvard & co.), and generally looking down on what's coming from them. A good researcher is going to have a pact with the devil to agree to this, unless the administration throws money and brute force at the problem.

I did not state that it was not tax fraud. I was just replying to the person above who states that the government will find you whatever you do. There are multiple ways so the government is not aware of what you are doing in cryptocurrency.

I don't know a lot of people who only have cryptocurrency income. Most people have a regular job, but then decide to put a % of their savings into crypto. You can use your job income to pay for transactions. If there are any cryptocurrency income, it's then up to you how to manage that. Put that into traditional finance (then declare it), hold (not selling, so there are no capital gains, so no tax), or use crypto to buy products that are outside traditional finance

It applies if there are gains.

What's not clear if you have to report the value of the gain when you did your transaction, or the current value. Crypto prices change a lot

It depends where you do your transactions. If you do it on CoinBase, yes, you are going to be tracked. There are many other options though where you don't have to provide ID.

Would be great to see a benchmark vs a database in a regular DigitalOcean droplet, or information about hardware. This information would be useful for projects requiring high performance per sec.

For "friends", there is Facebook. You don't do " friends" on twitter, except if the friends are hackers or marketing types.

Twitter is more for information
