And nobody has stopped paying tips either. It is very socially awkward not to pay it. But i won't agree that in principle not paying is stiffing the staff. It is stupid, the industry has arm twisted customers to make it socially mandatory to pay and calling it stiffing the staff is blaming another victim.

I view batch tables as simply a given state of some set of streams at a point in time. Running the same query against "batch" tables at different points in time yields different results (assuming the table is churning over time).

Was there no difference in fragrance either? Saffron imparts a very distinct fragrance, more than taste. And that fragrance affects perceived taste. In larger quantities, it has a bitter-ish taste. I use it in rice puddings, greek yogurt (simplest recipe possible - yogurt, sugar, cardamom powder and few threads of saffron. Big difference with and without saffron).
