It makes perfect sense. Reviewers want something to differentiate it from the iPhone and to rave about, so they choose the headphone jack.
Whereas users, and Google absolutely has the data for this, are probably mostly using bluetooh ear pods or headphones and so Google knows real users don't care.
This issue has been going on well before C19. The BBC have abused their power and it is absolutely ridiculous that people have to pay license fees to them when media has changed so much.

Unfortunately new immigrants have cottoned onto this and don't play the game that has been setup for them. They run their own separate economies and send most of their untaxed money back home.
Wonder if Covid, in terms of deaths, ends up being seen as a significant moment in history as it moved the needle on different kinds of vaccines/treatments and they, in turn, saved more lives than Covid could claim...
If anything, my point was the same but for people in Asia in regards to China/Russia.
