When a Mayor does more for the citizen than the government...

Very clear! And would it make sense to run it on a GCP VM, and use it as a "nicer docker-compose" ? Or that would entirely miss the point?

That would be quite useful indeed!

Is there some kind of Terraform/Pulumi integration to make it easy to deploy stuff to some VM running Incus for my deployments? Or I'm missing the point of what Incus is for?

Not sure I get it... how would you replicate this functionality with Kafka? You'd still need to have the database LISTEN to changes and push it to Kafka no?

Well, in order to have typesafety, validation, etc you might as well... directly write in Typescript?

I'd argue that *you* are reinventing the wheel with a custom format...

After having so many issues with .env files I just now do a simple .env at the root of the repo with just `ENV=prod/staging/dev` and then everything is generated (using 1password, etc) from a `config.ts` file in my `pkgs/config` from the monorepo

the file is basically a big

``` const config = { http: { server_url: ENV === "prod" ? "https://myserver.com" : "http://localhost:3000" ... } } ```
and this lets me type variables, add comments, many niceties, etc
That's exactly what I'm saying. The point of those sanctions is to hurt the Russian economy. Here the OP is a western guy trying to tell people in Russia how to minimize the effect of those sanctions.
Don't get me wrong, I wish that there was no war, and that everybody could live in peace and prosperity, in Ukraine and in Russia, but what OP does is trying to limit the impact of our economical sanctions on the Russian economy
Are you seriously trying to help Russians evade sanctions that the West want to put on them? Not sure what you are trying to do with this
