I believe it's confirmed Tesla employed this strategy successfully to id a leaker.

Larger than 6 inches, got it!

Assuming you meant < 6 inches I'm all for it as well, it would be another incredible usp for these devices.

Gauss's notes and margins is riddled with proofs he didn't bother to publish - he was wild.

Not sure if true, but allegedy he insisted his son not go into maths, as he would simply end up in his father's shadow as he deemed it utterly Impossible to surpass his brilliance in maths :'D

I've had some luck forcing it to use integrated graphics until explicitly told otherwise, but CPUs tend to run hot as well. I have not yet tried new Zen processors but due to power draw I suspect they perform good in these conditions

Ok great info, gonna check for one with a huge battery. I'd like to learn more about undervolting and such to see how much battery you can save. I want to work on it on battery for long stretches of time, activating the GPU periodically to crunch or render something and then turning it off to save on power.

Typically they're throttled by poor thermals. I'd be interested to know if anyone has recommendations for rtx grade laptops with nice CPUs in 15-17 inch form factor that doesn't throttle but are still somewhat portable. I have not found any but I think I've been testing too thin ones (XPS and Blade).

The Bose 700 from more than a year ago is already steps ahead here.

You simply pause the music on the computer, and play something on the phone and it just works. It's quite something.

> But hand generated content is always superior

It's very much not a binary choice between procedural vs handcrafted. Procedural content creation is truly great at some stuff, while the same is true for handcrafted creations. The real trick is to blend handcrafted and procedurally generated in such a way that both tools get maximal utilization in the domain they excel in.

I knew a guy that suddenly in his thirties started believing the earth was flat. His friends ignored it and tried to play it off. I tried talking to him to no avail.

One night I couldn't sleep and thought about how an average guy like him could do a 180 like that. I googled just to see what arguments the 'movement' tried to lean on. The following weeks I was bombarded with suggestions of more flat earth content, even after downvoting it YouTube kept recommending it for weeks if not months.

Who knows how many minds have been eroded already.

I don't disagree, but reading the following paragraph: "The report provides a detailed overview of the actions that led to the collision: when crew members tried to split throttle and steering control between consoles, they lost control of the ship, putting it into the path of the tanker." you're hard pressed to blame either lack of sleep or touch interfaces. It's quite obvious in this case there's an extreme lack of QA, no?
