It's a well-known book but I find it very impressive just how meticulous the author has been over the years. Another author who is similar in attitude is Donald Knuth. Of course most the errata comes from readers but still. Like battle scars, it makes the book even more impressive.

I haven't done it, since I already know Rails very well, but I know these guys as reputable contributors to the Ruby ecosystem.
