In good faith, can you respond to Terr_'s comment above then?
1. Who is doing the funding?
2. How are they doing the funding?
3. What message are they spreading, and what proof do you have the message has an effect?
Calling it a conspiracy theory does not mean it is instantly wrong, but it is a correct label - the accusation is hidden (or perhaps not, apparently it's obvious) wealthy foreign funders controlling American society. If that doesn't look like a conspiracy theory (which again, does not mean it's wrong immediately!), then I don't know what you expect.
Looks like I chose the wrong person to reply to. Does it ever feel sour that people that think like you are an ever decreasing minority in the greatest country on earth? Reflect on that.
I think yall misunderstood my comment. I'm not maligning anyone or complaining about any stereotypes, it's a reality that men are more pro-business policies than women in the West. Personally I think that Amazon is getting what's coming to them for their labor practices. My point was that I expected a significantly more conservative, Wall Street Journal-y response than those I have been seeing so far.
If I'm to be honest, I'm a little surprised at the responses I'm seeing posted. This site is probably >80% men, many of whom are college educated and far more wealthy than most Americans, but are still somewhat anti-Amazon?
