I don't know when and how I'll ever stop being salty about the colonial powers that absolutely looted my country.

Your guide to network programming got me through a difficult course in my Bachelors! Thank You!

I agree with the everything the author says in this article. But their advice includes teaching during code reviews, so the title is misleading. Explaining the 'why' of a code review comment is teaching, nothing wrong with that IMO.

How does this compare to a traditional Postgres deployment in terms of performance? Time-to-response for queries, latency and so on.

It's just few HTML pages. It has my resume and my contact information.

For me there's a cross to close the donation dialog box (top-right).

How did you create the image (in 'How does this work')? Looks super clean.

Love cleartax, maybe I'm a bit biased because it was founded by one of my alumnus (from IITG).

Always love seeing projects that indicate focus on code quality and better practices, esp. from Indian companies.

It shows that despite the general culture of doing more in less, frugality, etc; still someone was able to focus on doing something right and making it open source too!

Yeah, UPI is an absolute godsend. EPI looks heavily inspired by UPI. Somewhere I read even USA is looking into a similar system.

What score do people typically play to? I don't know. I can't read the font. Sigh guess I'll never know.

There's lots of communities on the internet. People who do DIY home improvements, gamers, programmers and countless more. Similarly there are people who want to study or be productive. Of course their network spans across platforms, just like any other passion people may have. Giving this phenomena a specific name - "Study Web" makes it seem like it's something well established or institutionalized. Which is just not true. The subtitle of the article "Exploring Gen Z’s Ambitious and Anxiety-Fuelled Pursuit of Straight A’s Across YouTube, TikTok, Discord, and Twitter" does a much better job of describing the article for what it is. What's next? DIY Web, Music Web, Cat Pictures Web.

This is something I was wondering as well. I am targeting FAANG and similar companies, what projects would be suitable for such orgs?

Thanks. I was leaning towards making something I've had in my mind since some time now. Maybe I just needed some confirmation.

Why do you wish you'd taken the FAANG path?
