Stretch out the time horizon. There's been a consistent tick tock pattern that stretches back to 1776. The United States vacillates from one extreme to another. It's our defining characteristic. The people who find themselves drunk with power become the caricature that disgusts the non-political center into voting them out of power so that a new cadre of political leeches can take office and become their own kind of disgusting caricature.

> appeal to the "non-existent" center

This is an insane notion. The center decides all elections in a two party system.

Looking to China as a purveyor of laissez faire freedom to do whatever you want is so nonsensical as to be a joke. Both US government and the Chinese government want this newfound power to be on a tight leash.

this is reminding me of the dearly departed website and news outlet Photography Is Not a Crime. Carlos Miller a name worth remembering.

This is why you always launder, amateurs. Fences and obfuscation.

Reanimating a corpse that was killed under suspicious circumstances, all while milking value out of a name someone else developed and cultivated for years. Frankenstein's monster wearing a skin-suit. I don't see the money in this outside of the freakshow factor. Everybody loves a freak show, but who wants to live there?

if you're a political action group then voluntarily choosing to limit the eyeballs on the ideas you're trying to espouse seems so counterproductive and antithetical for your raison d'être that it's hard not to look at this as shooting oneself in the foot. The PR person who thought this up is doing more harm than good. There's no way the metrics will improve because of this decision.

Halo Infinite is the closest I've gotten to the UT feeling nowadays. Simple arena, equal playing field, drop in drop out, tools-not-loadouts design. It's a shame how a variable and strong design gets put off into the corner to wither.
