You already posted a Show HN like 10 days ago. Why are you posting again?

No, but I'm curious what would motivate you to consider it?

From what I've read there's a trade off in terms of speed and accuracy. 4o is much faster, but its responses will sometimes have lower quality vs 4.

As someone who's played these games, it's disheartening to see the layoffs at Wizards of the Coast. Their contributions to the gaming world are immense, and the potential brain drain to competitors is concerning. These games hold a special place in many hearts, and the recent controversies have cast a shadow. Hoping for a brighter future for the gaming community.

Very insightful. IMO this is exactly what leads to many engineering teams to want to re-write a system from the ground up instead of trying to fix existing systems. They underestimate the complexity and assume the problems with the current system were the result of poor skill quality, rather than confronting complexity and nuance that they also aren't expecting. So they promise a rewrite in a couple months, a couple months turns into 6, they get pressure from management to wrap it up and ship the new thing, so they rush and they do. Then that system sits there for a couple years until a new batch of engineers comes and argues that the system sucks and the answer is a rewrite from the ground up. Rinse and repeat.

Cool! As someone who has extensively used Log4j, it's nice to see STF investing in the technology. Log4j has been a bedrock in the Java-based software world for a long time now. The security vulnerabilities that sent everyone scrambling back December 2021 highlighted the need for more sustained efforts to enhance its security and functionality.
