The police have been emboldened in their fascist tendencies, I'm trying to remember now, yes I'm quite sure of it -- it was the president immediately preceding the one now in office. He made it cool to be racist and violent, now the trickle-down effect is happening in the middle classes. Just in case you were wondering. He was in favor of violence against the press his whole time in office.
