Wayland had been around for a while, but I feel your pain.

Overall it seems much more performant if that makes it any better

Do you prefer one to the other? I’m in the market

Great if you install Graphene!

You can actually buy MagSafe cases for pixels. And GrapheneOS makes it very nice

Commented elsewhere but you can still get the Union made USA pants; model B01. Avoid pretty much everything else

I will have to try these Baileys though, how do they fit?

I can’t believe I’m chiming in on HN about work pants… The B01 are the only pants still Union made in the USA. AFAIK they still are durable as hell, I’m wearing them now.

The rest (mostly stretchy but some normal ‘washed’ duck) are imported and the quality is traded for fashion/lifestyle

Something I've done to help with this is wrap the bleeder threads with PTFE tape. It will make a one time seal on the non-taper threads, but it's enough for a flush

If you go far enough into the countryside here it come full circle; I had a neighbor try to burn scrap LVP flooring

Hey fyi and for posterity, on SteamDeck I have the same issue and the cause is the same as outlined above (modern standby). I would love to hear more from folks who don't have this out of the box.

The fix is simple but I have to wonder why it's not set by default

https://github.com/nazar256/publications/blob/main/guides/st...

Ideally the Steamdeck would come with hibernation after timeout and FDE enabled by default, but it doesn't. Still love it, and I'm glad/grateful it's open enough to enable these features on my own

Doesn't Vault self-promote in the case of single node failure?

I noticed you mention Vault lives in the US, I'm sure you've already heard of this pattern, but Vault (Enterprise) supports [multi-region clusters for performance and DR](https://developer.hashicorp.com/vault/tutorials/day-one-raft...)
