Real engineers have to sign off their professional reputation against what they do. Software licences say that the software is provided as-is with zero liability. Calling software developers as "engineers" is just not the same thing.
Didn't Zuck allegedly steal the concepts from those twins and claim it was his own? Something like that but at Harvard the idea morphed as people connected and I seem to recall a quote from Zuck that he couldn't believe people would give up all this data. So alleged plagiarism and getting lucky by the sounds of it.
I remember ten years ago telling our so-called leaders that the data will get leaked from LastPass. They were all gung-ho about it being secure blah de blah. Luckily most of us don't work there anymore.
The bulk output of "AI" is pure slop without constraints. Eventually the volume of slop is so bad that people just stop engaging. It's why AI free zones will thrive but those admitting AI slop are doomed to die painful and horrible deaths in the long run.
Sounds like a total chump. Why do these individuals spew these utterances voluntarily? I'm guessing it is something driven from an internal company decision so this individual now has to evangelize it as gospel to the naysayers.
