If Apple starts diverging from the standard, then it cannot benefit from the existing ecosystem and neither can a software dev say develop on Mac and deploy to graviton. I think it is big lose lose if Apple diverges from standard.

I agree this lawsuit sounds meritless. I suspect this was the plan all along for Parler. They refused moderating there content knowing full well that they will be banned. Then they go about crying victim and filling meritless lawsuit to put up a show. Very similar to the meritless lawsuits that were filled for elections fraud.
This has been my experience too. I like the hardware, but MacOS is something I just tolerate. Lot of minor irritants, lack of ability/keyboard shortcuts to dock Windows, different short cut for switching window and application to name a few.
I doubt you are going to convince the parent poster with facts. The comment suggests either the poster is not asking questions in good faith or letting opinions cloud the judgement.

Trying to engage with the MAGA crowd has been an exercise in futility. Despite no evidence of election fraud on the scale that would overturn the result and every institution in the country asserting the election was free and fair, they refuse to accept it. When they do not act in good faith, incite violence and commit terrorist activity - I think these actions, which were the last resort, is the only sane thing to do.
Even though i agree with you and, in this particular case I have a hard time sympathising with Parler. After recent events and posts calling for more violence and the response of the enforcement agency last time despite having known that MAGA goons would try to disrupt the vote, I cannot think of another solution than what the tech companies are doing. Just to provide context, this is coming from a person who strongly believes these tech companies must be broken down. The events at the capitol have made me angry and the fact that 70 million people support this is just disappointing.
I was able to sympathise with BLM protesters because of the incidents of the past and also comparing police presence in capitol during the priest of BLM and MAGA goons.
In case of MAGA goons, despites courts, a lot of which were conservative judges, and the republicans themselves not finding any evidence of election fraud which would change the result of election, they continue to try to overturn the result with force. They are acting in bad faith. The fact that more than 70 million people support this is the chilling part.
Agree. I think the current crisis in US is because of lack of education and the whitewashing or omitting of important events in history.
Just yesterday I saw a comment in here adding that deejays now have control of all three branches of the government(which was obviously false) and that was dangerous. But i guess the poster had no idea about what the three branches of the government.
The fact that this was incited by President of US for whom about 70 million voted for despite him showing all these tendencies for pay 4 years would mean that this is intact a huge event. How the hell can any sane person call this a trivial event?

The incentive for big corporations is to make money, and they create pockets of bubble which align with user's existing political view.
This has created the polarised society we see today.
If big corporations were trying to create a society with unified political view, as conspiracy theorist on right and left are complaining about, looking at the current state of political landscape in US, I would do they have utterly failed.
The demand from Apple was that Parler start moderation of the content which was trying to plan an armed version of what hand in Capitol on Jan 19th. Which, after seeing what happened recently, seems like a fair demand.
I continue to see plenty of right and left leaning views in YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.
