Why would I go with you versus a Mitsubishi heat pump system that has years worth of supply chain, installers, trained techs, etc. behind them?

Is there a term for releasing products that are decades old in Asia/Europe in the US as new, cool, hip, etc.? Maybe "technology arbitrage"?
