>Maybe it's a little overstated, but at this point, any of my worries about "woke" have been overshadowed by open fascism ("autocratic authoritarianism" for those who get triggered by the f-word).
Not in the slightest. "Woke" worries have repeatedly been shown to be true in the courts. "Open fascism" has repeatedly been shown to be Trump Derangement Syndrome.
No it's not. It conveys nothing about the language.
>It means the community around the language cares about creating a safe environment for me and many of my friends.
They don't specifically ban child groomers like they do "Nazis", which using your logic means the language doesn't care about creating a safe environment for children and child sex abuse victims.
Spat my coffee out laughing. Believing "The Handmaiden's Tale" is "banned/censored" is something only people as shallow as Dua Lipa believe. Everyone knows which "banned and censored books" won't be allowed at this library.
>First, things are bad: trains are getting worse every year, the highways are in disrepair (ask me about Bonn!), overloaded doctors, impossibly slow bureaucracy, economic crisis, growing inequality, housing crisis, and so on.
Any minute now those millions of doctors, lawyers, and engineers from the MENA countries that flooded Germany the past decade will fix all that! Any minute!
This is entirely false, not every country is the USA. Sweden does not have birthright citizenship. Most Somalis and their children in Sweden are not Swedish citizens.
That's the point! "Black Lives Matter" means something different.
