Haven't tried it yet, but I think we need something in that direction.
The terminal "Read file: xyz" mentions are not really followable.
It would be nice to easily see where the LLM is taking info from.
What I would find lovely is to connect my already existing Thunderbird profile that exists locally. I have 5 email accounts connected and there is no real need to sync them twice on the same machine.
In my written will I have defined a clear timeframe. If I have not recovered by a measurable amount (GCS) in a timeframe of 4 weeks, it's time for me to go.
Edit: note this might be different for you. You are the only one who can make that call. You can also decide that you want to be kept alive as long as possible. But then at least your loved ones know that that's what you wanted.
I feel you, I also unfortunately have experiences with that. It has profoundly changed my view on living, especially how I want to be treated when someday I'm heavily sick.
A family member in a coma takes a heavy toll on you, emotionally and financially. They are simultaneously there and not there. If they did not write down how they want to be treated you can never make a decision where you are sure what's right, or if they even want to be kept alive while not living. Eventually, when all your savings are burned through, when you might need to sell your house, you really wonder if that's what they wanted and if all that was worth it.
For me, the decision is clear: when I'm not able to make my own decisions turn everything off and let me die.
AI makes it apparent that the only value some people bring to the table is that they have access to information that you do not. If now they fold that one advantage by just delegating everything to AI (which is in the same position as you informationwise), they will remove themselves from the worker pool soon.
I'm nitty picking now, but for most people you can't cure lactose intolerance because it's not a disease. It's more like the default state that adult mammals have. You might be able to rebuild some tolerance, but it's much easier to just take the artificial lactase and manage intake. One could argue that, biologically speaking, lactose tolerance is the off state and just so happens because we keep consuming breast milk well into adulthood (just not our own mother's).
I've been working on https://game-pick.eu , a website for friends to easily decide on games to play together. It is voting-based and can show who has which game in their library to see who would yet have to buy it. I'm planning on adding features for finding new friends to play with also. It's my first real web project, so I'm excited how it will go.
The issue and update comment are also clearly generated. I'm not condemning this in general, I prefer a well written generated issue over a badly written manual one. But in this case it has just lead us off track.
The argument is that vibrations of the wind power plants at sea disturb the whales.
Paying for the gas itself would not be an externality. Externalities are for example the worldwide damages caused by extreme weather which is caused by climate change, health problems caused by air pollution or the usage of clean water for cooling
