it does apply to business at large. phone companies are not allowed to deny you access to your phone based on your speech.

the marketplace of ideas actually only works when people take the time to look past the branding of something, or the headline, and actually get into the meat and potatoes of the idea itself.

to use your example, both QAnon and "Stop the Steal" had enough evidence that they were able to convince large swaths of people.

dismissing the people who see that evidence as not "rational actors with good judgement" just conflates the problem.

if anything, you assuming that 80+ million people (including several state governments) are incapable of looking at evidece and making up their own minds just because you came to a different conclusion is more of a problem than QAnon and "Stop the Steal" themselves.

yes.

Usually what happens is the advertisers purchase a set amount of ads from a broker, which operates at scale. That broker than purchases ad space from various advertising networks. many of these brokers also purchase from gab and parler.

morality aside, the men who donate sperm will have an outsize influence on the genetic diversity of our species.

Think ghengis khan except on a smaller scale.

also interesting to think about the implications on human evolution over long periods of time:

will humans still have a 50:50 gender ratio of men to women? seems like sperm donation facilitates a much lower number of men required to maintain populations.

will humans still desire relationships with the other gender, or will we be more like bears (men show up for 20 minutes, do the deed, then don't help raise the kids)?

lots of interesting implications to consider.

> unless you're in a very, very narrow niche

you mean like every major bank, where something like 5% of their customers still use IE11?

do you actually believe that 1) Trump is the one coming up with these ideas, and 2) he just bans stuff willy nilly as some kind of masturbatory performance?

is that really your understanding of Trump?

lets just ban everyone who doesn't fit into an arbitrary set of constantly changing social norms on how to communicate in a text based medium that is neither real time nor able to convey any sense of tonality or emotional intent of the writer.

The state of Texas is suing other states in the supreme court and alledging fraud.

Youtube's new policy basically is saying that the state of Texas is not allowed to discuss the supreme court case on their platform.

this is just marketing before their IPO. The goal with the launch of airbnb.org is to generate press coverage of their brand, which will generate marketing for their IPO, which will hopefully help their IPO be more successfull.

It seems to be working.

gas stove are just the next target of the global warming alarmists. See san francisco's recent ban on them.

This is just a propaganda piece in order to manufacture the public perception that we should give up the absolute miracle that is the ability to have a safe cooking fire, with adjustable and controllabe heat levels, with the turn of a dial.

climate change cultilsts literally want to throw away the pinacle of 1000s of years of cooking technology and replace it with inferior products.
