I think it would be hard not just because of the amount of variables you have to model for but mainly it just might not be fun--or the fun would be very niche. In "Oxygen Not Included", maybe the most Biosphere 2-like game, your colony quickly collapses if you welcome too many duplicants (people). If you do manage to balance that there are dozens of other ways for the colony to suddenly collapse but then it can be difficult to narrow down what decision(s) lead to it.

One would make a long education video to hold eyeballs longer that can lead to more ad revenue (if that's your goal and your video is sufficiently entertaining).

I've commented about this before [1] but a lot of my simple searches lead to monstrous walls of text with tangential information about the query. The answer is buried well past a simple ctrl-F on the page. It definitely varies for domain though.

This was as good read and articulates many of the "what about this" sort of questions I've been having around the news. This clip (https://youtu.be/smemFVe0l5E?t=5418) of Tucker Carlson interviewing Senator Ted Cruz from nine-months ago popped in my head reading this. Invading Iran has been some US conservative dream for decades and now that all the people who have been telling them it's a bad idea are gone they're pushing ahead, consequences, history, and the rest of the world be damned.

I think the title of this could be more precisely phrased “Stop Giving Me Background Information About My Question, Just Give Me the Answer.”

My go-to example for this is when I once searched for egg substitutes for a baking recipe. Lots of multi-paragraph results about how eggs are nutritious, why eggs are useful in baking, why you might want to substitute them out. Finally after many more paragraphs of non-answers and many ignored ads: my answer, but not in a brief list, a paragraph for each one further explaining what they are.

I go to an LLM for these sorts of questions now and ask it to be brief. The internet for basic questions of any sort lead to these same frustrating webpages otherwise.

"Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to whit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect."
