That v4 quality is available to everyone in the world for a pittance is beyond remarkable.

Dubious at best. When you remember that there are open models with performance just as good as Sonnet that cost $2.50/M - $5/M output tokens. They don't have magically cheaper energy or compute costs. Anthropic premium pricing the API is just vibes. Like Starbucks. Like Lululemon. Like Apple.

I have to strongly disagree with this one. People should strive to do hard things, solve uniquely hard problems. SWE is not hard or particularly unique.

I use a tool called context-mode. Update agent to save session summary every 100k tokens

Now we get to the nub. American anti-Chinese rhetoric. Very good.

I made no such claims. Maybe you have something to share about why we need to have a negative view of free and open models based on publicly available frontier research.

You definitely have a bone to pick. Chinese researchers usually have given the world the most cheap and consistent high quality research around LLMs. They don't pretend, they do the work and release the goodies. Mostly so cheap, every one in the world has a chance to use close to frontier models. Why would you respond with "Anger"?

You let us know what your real complaint is about and let's not feign indignation at open models and research.

Civil war is always an exception because of the special circumstances. Its not an act of war but a state of emergency which has it's own protocols regarding presidential powers.

This is very promising, definitely looks more user friendly than exo. Can't wait to try it out.

Why would anyone care if its Chinese? No one uses ChatGPT because its from the US.

Of democracy, thats a feature, not a bug. The people spoke, the people received.

There is no flaw in the principle of that process. Its as old as time. Pontius pilate, 2000 years ago, had the exact same headache.

I know its well meaning, but 14 dollars US a month is not cheap globally. The people who do block are probably not the group google wants to advertise to anyway.

Its a war between two organized armies, however lopsided, with one army recieving support openly to defend against a larger state. Isreal is not only a belligerent state, it openly commits war crimes from every single human war convention in existence, if not outright genocide, what is it?

Funny thing. No need for drama. Just give people education and a wage, and a grind, and populations will go down on their own. While we pretend that the value of money still means something.

Thats a skill issue. Maintainers can get through a whole lot more than ever before because they can review PR much faster. Thats great for velocity. Features still need that expert touch since no software system is simple but it is getting easier.

This is wholly unhelpful.
