I work for FAANG and have had one page outside of working hours over that last 12 months. I do not respond to emails on weekends or evenings. I do not turn my work laptop on during vacation at all. I leave at home in a safe.

There is zero evidence of any real election fraud. This is a fear tactic of right wing nuts that want to suppress minority and poor voters.

because getting an ID costs money and time that most poor americans do not have. The poorest americans that work multiple jobs are simply not able to afford to take time off work to do this.

Why do this matter? You can just listen to the frame to hear early cracking signs.

Having rented a dozen different cars with car play i can say some manufacturers make car play feel just as painful as their in house infotainment systems.

$40 bucks on fiver gets you a better management system than what GM will develop.

Cancelling your amazon account then posting on a site run on aws (where amazon makes its real money) wont do anything.

Cancelling your amazon account and posting about it on a service run by aws is pretty comical.

This thread is probably generating more profit for amazon than a dozen of her purchases. This is hosted on aws.

And then you go post on hacker news which is hosted on? I will give you one guess.

You are crazy. Most pickups absolutely need AWD. A little bit of rain and a RWD pick up is sliding all over the place unless you put a ton of shit in the bed.

Passing this bill gives the drug companies the same amount of money as today. It only capped copays. Doing that still just passes on increased insurance costs to individuals. Drug companies would still make a ton. They need to wait for their in house insulin so they are not just giving a ton of money to the drug companies through the VA/Medicaid.

This was proposed by republicans to help save their pharma buddies from losing a ton of business in california to the state contracted insulin. If the cap went into effect there is no reason for people to switch to the state funded insulin.

If the bill capped the total cost to 30 dollars he would not have vetoed it. The reason he vetoed it is because it would ultimately just trigger insurance companies to raise prices to cover it across the state. That goes against trying to keep healthcare affordable.

The 128-bit address complaint is short sited. What does it really matter if the addresses are 128-bit. It ensures we are able to use this protocol for decades. IPv4 space was used wastefully too when it was plentiful. That will correct itself when and if IPv6 addresses become constrained.

I don't really understand your complaint about link-local addresses and why its a real problem.

The whole bootstrap ipv6 adoption stuff was a mess. We can agree there.

There are plenty of shitty bugs in IPv4 handling that still get released in major platforms. Not sure why the sysctyl thing is hard. Anytime you adopt a new feature, service, or platform it requires some critical thinking.

IPv4 fragmentation was even worse since any device in the middle could fragment packets. IPv6 atleast limits it to the client/host. I still think they should have designed IPv6 to include L4 info in each fragment to avoid having to reassemble to get that data.

you didn't read the article.

The stolen OpenAI credentials were stolen using Raccoon Infostealer (78,348), Vidar (12,984), and RedLine (6,773) malware variants.

Just my 2 cents.
