Im genuinely curious, who watches these types of videos in the first place? Instagram and Tiktok have useless videos, with little snippets of random information, or some dancing trend. Its basically Fast Food social media. On top of that Tiktok is just Chinese spyware.

So apparently pointing out ridiculous claims is starting a religious flame war.

What you said is rooted in very vague facts. Lewis Latimer created a more durable affordable filament, now all of a sudden he invented the light bulb.

Absolutely ridiculous, you cannot apply the butterfly effect to everything.

Say you are a Muslim without saying you are a Muslim. You clearly didn't read what I said.

By the way I found it hilarious how you assume I hate Muslims. I guess hate is pointing out a simple fact the most religion is rooted in Sexism and Violence, especially your religion. I know it is such a hard pill to swallow. Probably harder than the feelings your prophet has for 12 year olds.

By the logic you are spouting the stone wheel is more important, than the invention of the internal combustion engine.

>Just because you hate a group of people does not automatically erase their contributions to humanity.

Maybe you should do a bit of self-reflection and realize us infidels have contributed a lot more than the vague crap you are spewing on about.

But your comment is stupid either way, you are trying to attribute Islam for the invention of modern technology. Just because the invention of Math can be attributed to Arabic society, does not mean they are the sole reason we have modern technology, or that it has really anything to do with Islam.

The United Arab Emirates is a more westernized country compared to most other middle eastern countries. The United States also has a great relationship with the UAE.

While yes there are a lot of videos that are taken down, you can still find tons of videos from like 8-10 years ago easily. I noticed though that a lot of the older videos usually get taken down for copyright music, like old amvs, song re-uploads, etc. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to say, "Oh Google and YouTube are so great". I am only pointing out why many people including me will not fully switch over to other video platforms. Most other video platforms lack any content, and finding what you want is incredibly difficult. Where as YouTube you can find a plethora of things. Do I trust YouTube with my content? Yes, I don't really watch too many things which YouTube would want to censor like news or anything like that, and I usually watch stuff from certain channels (not recommended videos). Seriously, I dislike YouTube as much as the next person, but I am not going to switch over to an inferior platform (inferior in terms of content). Those people that are focused on open source, nonprofit, and privacy when it comes to platforms should continue to support and use this stuff, but understand most regular people don't care. Not saying it is not a problem, I just simply don't feel the need to fight YouTube that much and try to be a digital warrior about it.

I like these types of video websites, but a huge reason they will never beat YouTube is the age. YouTube has a huge abundance of content that spans pretty far back. When you have that much content its kinda hard to beat.
