1. Opensource tools (e.g., Kibana/Elastic, Grafana, Jenkins, GitLab, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS EMR) typically don't have good authentication and authorization.

2. The enterprise license fee to enable SSO (SAML, OIDC/OAuth) for some of them is very expensive.

3. If you need SSO for more than one application, the total price tag can be prohibitively high.
