From Space X prospectus:

For launches of our Starlink satellites, the Company does not recognize any inter-segment revenue, rather those launch costs are capitalized in satellites in Property, plant, and equipment, net. We allocate a significant amount of launch capacity to our Connectivity segment, and expect to allocate a significant amount to our AI segment in the future. Our Space segment revenue only reflects our customer launches and customer activities.

For launches dedicated to deploying our Starlink satellites, we capitalize the associated costs within our Connectivity segment and depreciate them over time, and we do not recognize revenue for those launches in our Space segment.

I don't hold any crypto but it seems all these hit pieces are intended for clicks and for the writers to be proven right at some point.

Nothing solid these articles unlike that of the FTX.

But like someone said, they rode the waive when things were great so perhaps they should bear this too.

This is not true. The scam are usually carried out by highly illiterate young boys who simply carry a file containing files labeled as first letter, second letter, third letter and so on. Then they go phishing with these.

I’ve seen this idea of they’re trying to filter out educated people so often that it makes me laugh. They aren’t , they’re simply dumb.

That is enough to tell you that Loon didn't close shop because of starlink.

It is stated in the article that mobile phones became ubiquitous that telecom companies can justify the cost of setting up base stations because they can now connect thousands of people per location.

That has nothing to do with starlink.

I'm on Firefox mobile for Android and I had to scroll over and over with elements moving all over the place so I abandoned it to come and read comments so I can find out what it is really about.

They're effectively saying Google is an unethical company and yet they continue to use the platform of this unethical company, a platform whose existence is solely dependent on the unethical practices of Google (as it has been mentioned over and over that Youtube is running at a loss).

It's sheer hypocrisy that makes you think you're in the right. The platform costs money to deliver content to you.

You could care less who hosts it yet you care to type YouTube.com into your address bar to find the content you want.

In any case, if you think the company doesn't deserve your money, simply don't consume videos via their platform.

If you really mean it, simply stop using the service because the more you use it, the more they retain market share and get to serve more ads to other users. So effectively, you're contributing to their growth.

Live by your word and don't use YouTube if you detest Google that much.

There's no dignity in double standards.
