Of all things...two classrooms? Seriously? How low does this have to go before everybody takes a step back? As a country, doing something as petty as this blows my mind. Is there anything that can even be done other than shaming them? I really do feel for the people caught up in this whole situation. Especially the poor children who are growing up in not only this pathetic display, but also the never-ending violence.
Where were these located precisely? Whose land are they on, and were any people operating them?
The Guardian says they have this information, but they choose to leave it out?

Ibziq is here[0], but how far is not Ibziq? That is the subject of an ongoing military conflict between two serious belligerents; and a set of treaty negotiations which fail primarily because one side is committed to no compromise whatsoever.

I was thinking the same thing. The article states that the auction items "also appeared to include material confiscated from Palestinians and Israeli settlers who built without authorization."
Which seems to imply this wasn't targeted specifically at the Palestinians but rather anyone who built without permits. Which begs the question... who built the classrooms and why wouldn't they have gotten building permits before doing so?

The real issue is the blind support of the US behind whatever Israel does. I will not go to the level of claiming that there is an extremely active Israel//Jewish lobby in DC but at least they were extremely successful at convincing everyone that if you criticize Israel's settlement policies it makes you automatically antisemitic.
