I think you want a more crisp end condition than that. There seem to be lots of claims that remain in dispute for long times, or where "everyone knows" it works but there's no official recognition.

For example, the FDA does not allow claiming on boxes of vitamin C that it treats any disease, even scurvy.

Yeah I think the actual contract would need to be more specific from the post:
