I wanted to upgrade to 13, started the process 5 hours ago, "Fetching 10652 files.." then 5 hours later.. 5360.. 5370..
I'm on a gigabit network with a powerful machine.
This will take at least 12 hours to upgrade!
I'm sick of freebsd-update for upgrading from release to release! It's meant for minor upgrades, not giant upgrades.
And then there's the issue with the update mirrors. There is a gazillion mirrors for the normal downloadable files, but only three horribly slow mirrors for the upgrade!
