Although the threat (or panacea) was always that unskilled and low skilled workers would be replaced by robots, it's looking increasingly possible that first line and middle management will be replaced by robots (really expert systems). As more organizations become metrics driven this becomes closer to reality every day.
It’s much easier to build a machine to give your factory workers an electric shock when they slack off, than to build a machine to do the actual work..
Can we not do sentences like this ever again, please?
