I like the idea but I'd like it even better if it gave attribution to the artists. My artist friends struggle to support themselves with their art; the least someone can do, if they're not paying for art, is give credit.

Really neat project, but isn’t this against YouTube’s terms of service? YouTube doesn’t let developers separate the audio and video which is why Discord bots like Groovy received a C&D.
It doesn't separate the video. If you look very close you can find it
I'm not sure that YouTube will find a 1x1px embed satisfying enough to please their advertisers.

Given that the videos are just background images themselves, it shouldn't be too distracting to just display them full size.
Really nice. Playing in background isn‘t working on iOS though.
