Ask HN: Is anyone else annoyed by the bug in the comments links?

I didn't even notice it, but now that you've pointed it out, I'm annoyed.
I got a bunch of user emails for my HN client (I am the dev for HACK client on iOS, Android and Mac) that the comment count were all zeroes for some reason. By the time I got to troubleshoot the issue, the issue disappeared. I emailed the mods and they told me they had accidentally introduced a bug which caused the issue.
Fixed now. In the future, please follow the site guidelines (https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html) and email these things to [email protected] rather than posting them to HN.

Could it be fixed please? Thanks!
