Guess the quality of search results doesn't matter and it's all about keeping users engaged which gives data to build up more "accurate" profiles.

Of course there might be some interesting or valuable content on that site for some people but I really doubt is the dominant one. I've launched tiktok for literal 3 mins and I couldn't find anything interesting there because the dynamics and form of the content were definitely not for my tastes.
