I bought one to turn an old monitor into a 'TV' to watch Netflix, Youtube, Amazon in one of the bedroom.
Cheap and convenient.
At the moment their market cap is $9B, which is still quite high, IMHO. They just spiked during Covid like everything else that was perceived as lockdown/WFH friendly. Of course it was all a bubble.

Price and convenience. I don't like Amazon Firestick or Google Stick. Apple is nice. Also I can add Pi-Hole and limit a lot of the Roku data mining that happens.
I never understood why it was a $60 billion stock when what they make is close to a commodity and worse, all TVs now come with some smart function as standard.
