it's a couch for big people with a lodge for people who were told to listen to learn for the sake of taking over in the future ( and or to observe with a spear ready to throw )
As far as moving the major slab gradually across the countryside, if you lived in one of those villages it would be something nobody had ever seen before and likely not going to see again.
That could be a real spectacle and reason for celebration, kind of like seeing the Oscar-Mayer Weinermobile show up for a photo-op, coming through your town ;)
If you were to follow it on to it's ultimate destination, there's probably a lot more hot dogs to be had at the main location than on the road ;)
I just don't know, I'm not a scientist like that :)
