Dad's X account was hacked (100k+ followers)

Hey - fellow SWE here looking for some inside help. My dad is a public figure (he’s famous) and his X account with over 100k followers has been hacked. They logged in and changed the associated email. Automated support for this is useless and doesn’t work for cases where they change the email.

He can manually verify his identity on a video call, with government ID, etc. Would super appreciate any help with this from anyone at X - as their support department probably doesn’t exist.

i mean i hope support helps. See if your dad has any SSO linked to his twitter and try to log in with that (google, apple, etc.)

last time i used twitter it still had a bird icon. it was like a month after Elon bought it i left (online chillout, i never made another account, might soon idk) so things might be different
