Boring Laser Eyes Simulator: Add laser beams to your eyes with your webcam

The image comes out very vertically squashed on my phone in portrait mode (the natural orientation you'd use for this). It works fine if I have the phone in landscape mode, but then the camera is off to the side.
Very cool to be able to see the wireframe!
Webcam MegaPixels: 4.80 MP
Webcam Resolution: 1472×3264
EDIT: but overall this is very cool, it's good for a profile pic.

Interesting. When I look to the side, my hidden eye suddenly shifts downwards instead of to the side, making me into a sort of laser-eyed-flounder.

Amazing what Gemini can do
Needed a break from my main project, so I threw together this Laser Eyes Simulator. It's a silly little thing that adds laser beams to your eyes using your webcam. Downloadable images. Hope you enjoy!
Gemini 3 Prompt:
- Use the computer's front-facing camera
- Use `mediapipe` lib to capture facial landmarks
- Use `threejs` to apply a LASER EYE effect to the face captured by the camera based on the real-time 3D landmark information provided by `mediapipe`
