Libraries. You know, I had my music in iTunes but I got sick of it, so when I intalled win 7 I actually moved it all back into media player. Unfortunately, Moof doesn't recognize these files. I know this is about as relevant as catering to the Zune market, and moof did say 'itunes' on the tin, so no harm no foul. Pity though.

Short, simple, kind of quirky, easy to remember. Four letter, coherent domain names (sorry rhta.com) are rare.

I joined and then tried to upload my iTunes library to see how it would work. It keeps on erroring out and I looked for a email address to send them the error and a copy of my library to help out, but I can't seem to find any contact info on the site.

Nice domain name indeed. I can't see what I'm typing into the sign-up box. Probably because I've Firefox's (3.5.1) auto filling engine turned on. Minor quibble from my 1st impression: Not really into the signin / signup form. From a usability perspective it just seems like it deviates a lot from what most users are familiar with. I like the narrative take on signin / signup but I think it would work better if the underlined sections were typical input boxes.
I've always thought a YouTube jukebox would be a good idea. If this gets popular, though, there's no question it will be shut down, if not by the RIAA then by YouTube itself.
My feedback: needs more AJAX. Clicking items in the interface like "friends" or "music" shouldn't reload the page and stop the playing song. Also, get rid of modal dialogs. (For example, when adding a song or playlist, give it a default name instead of asking for a name in a modal dialog.) Also, don't ask for my real name up front; wait until later.

I can get to the upload page if I'm not logged in at http://moof.com/upload, but when I try to upload my library, I am redirected to the home page. This holds true for some of the other pages as well.
The profile page doesn't work properly in Safari.

I tried the site in Opera 10, IE8 and IE8 in compatibility mode. None of the above actually allowed me to play a song.

Cool signup / login forms. I haven't seen that approach before; makes it more interesting than traditional signup. Kudos.
This reminds me a bit of Grooveshark-- let me give it a try and compare, though.
The big difference is that Grooveshark is not a YouTube scraper. Much better quality of music on Grooveshark, but crappy UI.

Eh...the search is not that good. It seems like you're just searching Youtube? I opened up YT in another tab and then did the same searches, got [edit: many of] the same results. but clicking on a result in Moof would often take me to the wrong entry - ie a different video in the same search results.
So I'd click on 'Kate Bush hounds of love TOTP' and instead the video that would actually play would be 'Kate bush hounds of love JBU talent show', although it would still be labeled as the former.
Sorry, that's really broken. Scribble 'Alpha' on it somewhere and solicit more testing is my advice. I wasn't willing to send time finding out whether it could process my mp3 library or not.
