Too bad Apple wouldn't allow the registration requiring the tapping - it would have been cool if whole social network was a tree with a single root - the founder.
Ofc it's probably for the better if it's to have a chance to spread at least a little.
You have to check box "Web" for it to search in linked articles too. Without that it highlights the words in articles that are found only because of title. And the indexing of contents isn't perfect, sometimes it seems to work for main article content but not for article author name even when it's shown.
And what was he supposed to say? Here comes some arrogant jerk, without any history in the project and announces that "Calibre needs to convert to Python 3" without offering any help or solution. Considering how big project Calibre is, Kovid's response was quite logical, it was easier to maintain Python 2 version. Later with actual contributors to the cause of migrating Calibre to Python 3 it became feasible.
Actually there are ways to install software on many ereaders. About 10 years ago I used PRS+ on Sony's PRS-500. Nowadays Sony's ereaders are pretty much dead, but there is alternative software for Kindle, Kobo and others. By quick googling I just found:
I don't think so, but there is inbuilt calibre-server which should suffice for most of your needs and apparently it was improved in last version. There is also calibre-web[0] project. And on Calibre's wikipedia page it lists quite a few Calibre related applications which could do what you want.
Although Youtube sucks in many regards (namely handling copyright claims and deleting/demonetizing videos for wrongthink), one thing I really like about it is their terms of use. I come very rarely upon so creator right friendly service.
You give rights to your content to Youtube only for purposes of operating and promoting Youtube, which means that it won't eventually become remixed by third party and put behind paywall without you having anything to say about it.
And this license which you grant to Youtube ends if you remove your videos. Also it doesn't have indemnification clause. Compare it to virtually all other services which request irrevocable right to do pretty much anything with your content and also demand indemnification.
