Good luck with that. Their services are essential to my life and I don't think they're doing this dramatic draconian version of censorship everyone thinks. Never seen this kind of hate from the HN crowd towards amazon or apple's manufacturers and warehouse workers working in deplorable conditions, which is far and away the worst thing a company could be doing. I'm still active on a forum for those types of games. They're still probably about as active as they've ever been. It's obvious why it would never work on a large scale though. Each post got the user profile next to it, their signature, and a lot of space.

This post reads like it was made for maybe 3 or 4 people in the world who truly 'get it' and if you aren't in that elite club you're a terrible engineer, apparently. There's not even a lick of example code to get an idea of what is going on. Engineering is a big word that shouldn't be used in this blog post.
Very well put. It's also a matter of use cases. These people seemingly implement servers for big companies. I just make shitty websites. We aren't their target audience yet it comes off as 'this is what everyone should be doing'.
Forget about 3000 a month, some people have very 'simple' businesses like clothing retail and earn way above engineers salary, which is really what a lot of entrepreneurs want at the end of the day. There's nothing new or innovative about these ideas other than maybe the right branding or location, but it goes over the tech industry's heads here because their venture capitalist overlords are telling them to work on unicorn ideas because they want to make billions, when most founders would be content with just making millions.

Private Prisons are run by using prisoners as workers for less than a dollar an hour. This is constitutionally legal. This means there is a financial incentive to imprison people.
Elections are influenced by corporate lobbying. The state works for businesses at least as much as it works for the people, but guess who gets first preference.
Healthcare is based on profit and not on saving lives. Self explanatory and this has been talked about countless times throughout the past 4 years.
It's an excellent introduction into the problems of capitalism for those not particularly interested in communism and just trying to get their feet wet.
Actually in this case it makes sense, communist theory says workers should only produce what is socially necessary, and so in many cases managers are just there for nothing. However communist theorists like engels also wrote about some industries requiring management, so it's not totally out of the question, but i don't think you'd find many communists saying software is one of those industries.

This is a basic understanding of how the world works. It is clearly impossible for an employee to be making more than they bring money into the business. Otherwise the business wouldn't exist.
It preys directly on human psychology by creating myths about how life used to be great and invoking nostalgia and frustration in broken people who just need guidance. No one who likes fascism sees it the way normal people do, because it's designed to trick people and weed its way into collective society and psyche.
This is why we must make a continuous effort to stomp it before it spreads and never listen to people who call us silly for saying Modi is a fascist just because he isn't Hitler's level yet.
How is banksy going to protect their work if they cannot even prove they made it? I don't even believe all the 'banksy' originals over the years came from one person, it's more likely a group.
Honestly it's frustrating to watch an anonymous entity decorate the city while still expecting people not to use their work. The way banksy has established themself as a figure would indicate they want the art to be free and open for all to use. You cannot have your cake and eat it too, which is to say you cannot be anonymous and trademark your artwork.
