Snapchat is the only real social media app in my opinion. People seems to use it to actually connect with their friends via Stories, Messages and even SnapMaps. They don't mindless scroll like on other social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, etc...
However, it seems like Snapchat hasn't gotten that so they keep pushing useless content like Discover and Spotlight...
Everytime I get on Facebook, the navbar seems to have a new combination.
Watch, Gaming (Streaming), Dating, Marketplace, "News" Feed, Shop, Groups, Home, etc... These could all be different applications under the same login.
Kylie Jenner is right (for once)... Nobody knows what Facebook or Instagram is for nowadays.
Reddit - Communities and memes
Snapchat - Sending snaps and watching stories of your actual friends
Tiktok - Fast paced entertainment (Short videos)
Twitter - What's happening right now?
Instagram and Facebook is trying to be all of those at the same time.
I have had many psychedelics experience during the last 2 years but I've only had the opportunity to try mushrooms once.
They definitely are powerful and healing, however I believe the only safe path shrooms will take in our society is national legalization for use in therapy and not recreational use.
My main argument is the following: legalization for recreational use will trivialize the image of psilocybin in the eyes of the population, and we will start to see an increase in "bad experiences" due to people using it without having a trip sitter or preparation. Therefore, legalizing it only for therapy use will be more beneficial for the general population.
Decriminalization is an option, but legalization ehhh.
