I'm Hungarian and I can assure that this move is a beautiful temporization from our government. They proposed this tax to herd the attention from the 'banning scandal'.[1] And now from one moment to the other, they are heroes.

That's a thing I have been thinking about for ages.
Curently it works like this:
- Someone adds an opinion (they show their support for the viewpoint -> the viewpoint gets a +1)
- Someone votes on an opinion (they show that they like/dislike the opinion not necessarily the viewpoint -> the count stays the same)
I love the interface and structure.The loading went really really slowly though.
I would suggest you to add some keyboard shortcuts (like [J] and [K] for switching articles back and forth) and let the users participate!
I think the creator of the project found some failures in the 45° view of Google Maps and then he/she went to these locations and took a photograph. Then he/she edited these photos so that they looked like the Google Maps failures are real.
Well, yes.. today after somebody posted this to HN, the unregistered unknown internet surfers some spam opinions too. But I think, when we launch the registeration recquired site, the ratio of spam and unuseful opinions and comments will drop.
