Hey friends! I am a Control Systems Programmer (Audio/Video systems) that is looking to make my way into the dev world. I have been doing this for 7 years, it is a c/c#/java-ish environment (it is called Netlinx), but I have spent the greater part of the last 6 months soaking in codecademy and am looking to make my way into a junior role where I can take my 7 years of a/v programming and apply it to something more meaningful. I suppose Python/Javascript are where I would be most applicable, but I am a pretty open book and eager to absorb.

I come from the world of a/v programming - Looking for something more purposeful and meaningful than writing code for conference rooms. Incredibly teachable, foundations in several languages and several senior devs in my friend circle. 7 years in parsing data, UI design, and end to end deployment of audio/video systems.
