Alot of people aren't trying to make money, they just want to kill a few hedgefunds regardless how much money they lose, they know they'll never retire and they're already broke, many of these people have nothing to lose
I physically cannot make myself work more than I already am, my brain is utterly destroyed from lockdown; My memory is shot, my motivation is shot, fundamentally my ability to think has declined to the point where I'm seriously worried, and the fact this seems to be the case for everyone else isn't helping at all. Before you ask yes I tried taking a holiday and it actually made things worse.
I don't understand the claim that it's a 'middle class' phenomenon, it's just where the nerdy side of the work class youth ends up. That was I've observed first hand and from my personal experience.
I'm interested in how much volatility this could create for markets going forward, especially as society gets more and more unstable and people get more and more desperate. I have relatives who've recently gotten into trading thanks to all the spare time they would've spent commuting.
Piracy is copying without permission, since Flash is in fact not free software (it costs nothing but it's not 'free' in what you can do with it) you can in fact pirate it by sharing it yourself as opposed to being someone who has gotten permission from Macromedia/Adobe. This is of course absurd, but it's what copyright law entails.
