The benefit is that if you did it with an encrypted USB that you keep with a lawyer, every time you make a new account or change your username or password, you would have to get the USB back, re-write the txt file, then give it back. Whereas here, it may be easier to update your information in this fashion
Well, this just exemplifies what everyone has been saying; that amazon's business model isn't the hardware, it's what's sold after that initial buying of the hardware.
So they lose $10 per tablet, but people buy a lot more then that in merchandise.
Well, my advice is to get SOMEthing up quickly, before you quit your job, to see if there's even a market for your idea and if people like it and are interested in it. If you get positive feedback, then at least know you have a good idea that can get followers.
If it flops, then that would lead you to think of maybe it's not a great idea
>>I'm much of the mindset that just about anyone can do just about anything
>> Know When to Quit
how do you know when its time to quit and when its time to just be better. i keep hearing "if you're driven, its possible" so how do you distinguish between that and failure?
in terms of keeping the business going. i just want to re-state how aurbnb got off the ground, they lived off of cereal...they were on the brink of poverty, and they didnt give up. they refused to label their company as a failure. and they kept working at it, until they got to what they are today
this guy ukosic, i got him twice in a row and he rocked me....hes so good i kinda suspect hes a bot, lol, he knew how to say acorn in hebrew, i'm israeli and dont know that!
i think that the way games are designed now with there midget buttons need a mouse. but i think if they can be re-designed and re-thought of. it can work.
for example, some itouch games would be horrible with a mouse, if not impossible. but the games are great on a touch screen like that.
the fact is that no matter how used to the mouse we are, it isnt natural. think of the ease of switching desktops in ubuntu with the mouse or even the keyboard shortcuts, then to simply swipe into the next desktop using your ipad.
the ease is infinitely greater.
the proof of this is the success of gmail motion ;)
