The smallest plan for the netbook includes 100Mb of data per month. Not sure if this is enough to cover even security updates...

I am not sure about particular situation about OOo/Libre Office in Australia, but I have gut feeling that Defence and Cloud are not much compatible. Unless Australian Defence wants to create their own Cloud infrastructure.

Will you disagree that KDE version is slightly better than GNOME 3, for example because it is more polished?
I am not aware about OSX, never worked with it. Maybe they have this feature for longer than Win7.
